Aeronautical Charts

The Philippines vACC proudly provides a free and wide-range collection of aeronautical and airport charts for use when flying in or out of the Philippine Airspace without having to login on a different provider/client.

This was initiated to enable the organization to facilitate the efficiency, effectiveness, and execution of our mandate, and to further provide support to those who don't have access to such documents.

It was made possible with the subsistense from the Aeronautical Information Publication (AIP) Philippines and the Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP). By all means, except this, we are not affiliated with the CAAP, the actual Philippines ACC, or any governing aviation body.

General description of each series

  • Enroute Chart. This chart provides flight crews with information to facilitate navigation along ATS routes in compliance with air traffic services procedures.

  • Aerodrome/Heliport Chart – ICAO. This chart provides flight crews with information which will facilitate the ground movement of aircraft:

    1. from the aircraft stand to the runway; and
    2. from the runway to the aircraft stand;

    and helicopter movement:

    1. from the helicopter stand to the touchdown and lift-off area, and to the final approach and take-off area;
    2. from the final approach and take-off area to the touchdown and lift-off area, and to the helicopter stand;
    3. along helicopter ground and air taxiways; and
    4. along air transit routes;

    it shall also provide essential operational information at the aerodrome/heliport.

  • Aerodrome Ground Movement Chart – ICAO. This supplementary chart provides flight crews with detailed information to facilitate the ground movement of aircraft to and from the aircraft stands and the parking/docking of aircraft.

  • Aircraft Parking/Docking Chart – ICAO. This supplementary chart provides flight crews with detailed information to facilitate the ground movement of aircraft between the taxiways and the aircraft stands and the parking/docking of aircraft.

  • Aerodrome Obstacle Chart – ICAO Type A (Operating Limitations). This chart, in combination with the Aerodrome Obstacle Chart – ICAO Type C or with the relevant information published in the AIP, provides the data necessary to enable an operator to comply with the operating limitations of Philippine Civil Aviation Regulations (PCAR) Part 8 - Operations, Chapters 8.7 and 8.8.

  • Aerodrome Obstacle Chart – ICAO Type B. This chart provides information to satisfy the following functions:

    1. The determination of minimum safe altitudes/heights including those for circling procedures;
    2. The determination of procedures for use in the event of an emergency during take-off or landing;
    3. The application of obstacle clearing and marking criteria; and
    4. The provision of source material for aeronautical charts.
  • Area Chart – ICAO. This chart provides the flight crew with information to facilitate the following phases of instrument flight:

    1. The transition between the enroute phase and the approach to an aerodrome;
    2. The transition between take-off/missed approach and the enroute phase of flight; and
    3. Flights through areas of complex ATS routes or airspace structure.
  • Standard Departure Chart – Instrument (SID) – ICAO. This chart provides the flight crew with information to enable them to comply with the designated standard departure route - instrument from take-off phase to the enroute phase.

  • Standard Arrival Chart – Instrument (STAR) – ICAO. This chart provides the flight crew with information to enable them to comply with the designated standard arrival route - instrument from the enroute phase to the approach phase.

  • Tracking System Chart. This chart provides ATS route information which are not listed under ENR 3. Track routes are either confined within a TMA or they extend toward adjacent TMAs.

  • ATC Surveillance Minimum Altitude Chart – ICAO. This supplementary chart provides information that will enable flight crews to monitor and cross-check altitudes assigned while under radar control.

  • Instrument Approach Chart – ICAO. This chart provides flight crews with information which will enable them to perform an approved instrument approach procedure to the runway of intended landing including the missed approach procedure and where applicable, associated holding patterns.

  • Traffic Circuit Chart. This chart depicts the legs that define the circuit and the turn direction for joining and leaving the traffic circuit of an aerodrome.
